The good news? Disneyland Paris is designed to fit all kinds of budgets, whether you’re going all out like Scrooge McDuck or keeping things as simple as Cinderella before the ball.
We’re here to help you prepare for how much spending money you need for Disneyland Paris, so you’re making memories, not counting spare change.
This guide will break down spending money suggestions for budget, mid-range, and luxury trips as one size does not fit all.

How Much Spending Money Do You Need for Disneyland Paris?
We aren’t diving deep into pre-trip costs such as tickets, as these need to be booked in advance, nor are we including travel costs like flights.
Instead, let’s focus on what you’ll spend during your visit—everything from transport to food to souvenirs.
Transport to/from the Airport
We are writing this under the assumption that you haven’t pre-booked any transport prior.
Getting to Disneyland Paris from the airport doesn’t have to be stressful—it all comes down to how much you’re happy to spend. If you’re all about saving those euros, or just want a bit more comfort without going overboard, here’s your options:
Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG)
Probably the most popular airport for Disney-goers, getting from Charles de Gaulle Airport to Disneyland Paris is super easy.
Savvy Saver:
Take the RER train for €17.90 per adult one way. It takes around 90 minutes and involves a change at Châtelet–Les Halles. It’s the cheapest way to get there, but it does require some patience.

Comfort Seeker:
Use Uber or Bolt for a more convenient ride straight to your destination. Prices are around €60-70. While it’s more expensive, it’s still affordable for groups and only involves a short wait for your ride to arrive.
Orly Airport (ORY)
Also a really convenient airport to fly into in Paris, as it is quite easy to get from here to Disney. We have a full guide on just how you can do this here.
Savvy Saver:
Hop on the RER train for approximately €13 per adult one way. Travel time is about 75 minutes with a transfer at Antony for the Orlyval shuttle.
Comfort Seeker:
A Bolt or Uber ride costs around €60. It’s quicker and door-to-door, making it a good middle ground for convenience and cost.
Beauvais Airport (BVA)
Be sure to weigh up all your options for getting from BVA to Disneyland Paris, as this airport is actually quite a way from Paris.
Savvy Saver:
In all honesty, there isn’t a super savvy, convenient way to get to Disneyland Paris from Beauvais without some pre-planning.
You can take the Aérobus coach from Beauvais Airport straight to Disneyland Paris for around €20 each way, but you will need to book in advance as there are only 3 coaches a day.

Comfort Seeker:
A Bolt or Uber ride from Beauvais Airport costs around €120-140. It’s much faster and more convenient for those willing to spend extra for a stress-free journey.

Tourist Tax
Even after all these years of traveling, I always forget to factor in the tourist tax—it’s one of those sneaky little extras you only remember when you’re checking in.
It’s a small fee charged per adult, per night, for overnight stays, and it’s collected by the local government to fund tourism services.
You’ll usually pay it directly to the hotel, so it’s worth keeping in mind when budgeting for your trip.
If you’ve booked a package directly with Disneyland Paris or MagicBreaks, this charge is usually included in your holiday price, but it’s always worth double-checking to avoid surprises.
For anyone that has booked accommodation only, these prices are effective from January 1, 2025, for adults aged 18 and over, (charged per adult, per night) :
Hotel Rating | Tourist Tax (2025) | Examples of Hotels |
---|---|---|
5-Star | €11.80 | Disneyland Hotel |
4-Star | €9.02 | Disney Newport Bay, Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, Ki Space Hotel & Spa, Les Villages Nature Paris, Staycity Aparthotels Paris Marne-la-Vallée |
3-Star | €5.90 | Disney Sequoia Lodge, Disney Hotel Cheyenne, Hôtel l’Elysée Val d’Europe, Explorers Hotel, Aparthotel Adagio Val d’Europe, Campanile Val de France |
2-Star | €5.90 | Disney Hotel Santa Fe, B&B Hotel Disneyland Paris, Disney Davy Crockett Ranch |
Food
We can give you a breakdown of what food generally costs, but it really depends on your appetite and how much dining you’re planning to include in your day.
Snacks:
Treats like Mickey-shaped pretzels or churros cost around €4-5 each. We have tried and tested most of them, and can confirm that Disneyland Paris Snacks are worth every cent!
Meals:
Quick-service meals are budget-friendly, averaging €15-20 per person.

Table-service meals start at €30 per person, and character dining can cost upwards of €70 per person if you’re planning a splurge.
Meal Plans:
If you’re staying in an on-site hotel, consider the Disneyland Paris Meal Plan to help manage your food budget. Depending on where you choose to eat, it could even save you money.
You can read all about it in my post on the Disneyland Paris Meal Plan.
To make it easier, here’s a real-life example of what one adult could spend in a day without a meal plan:
- Breakfast: American breakfast and drink at Annette’s Diner – €17
- Lunch: Burger, chips, and a drink at Hyperion Cafe – €17
- Dinner: Starter, main, dessert, and a Coca-Cola at Bistro Chez Remy – €61
- Snacks:
- Mickey Waffle – €5
- Alice Ice Cream – €7
- Drinks:
- Coffee – €3.80
- Soft drink – €4
- Total for the day: €114.80
This gives you an idea of how quickly costs can add up. There are, of course, cheaper options such as McDonalds, or the nearby supermarkets.
Many of the off-site hotels offer breakfast included in your stay, so make sure to take full advantage of this.
There are tons of options so be sure to weigh up the pros and cons of on site vs off site hotels before booking.
Souvenirs
Let’s start small—fridge magnets are a great budget-friendly option at around €5. If you’re after something wearable, Mickey Ears start at €25 and go up depending on the style.
T-shirts are another popular pick, costing about €30, while plush toys start at €20.

For those looking to splash out, higher-end items like the Tangled-inspired mirror are available for around €90.
If unique, collectible items are your thing, attraction-specific merchandise like the Disneyland Paris Attractions Collection tends to be priced higher due to its exclusivity.
Extras
When it comes to extras, there are a few costs worth considering.
PhotoPass
The Photopass is €85 for unlimited professional photos, and ride photos—a great splurge if you love capturing memories, though it’s worth noting that Photopass photographers can sometimes be tricky to find, so do your research beforehand.
Premier Access (Fast Pass)
The Premier Access Pass is an option for skipping ride queues, with prices ranging from €10-15 per ride or up to €100-200 for an all-inclusive pass.

Parking
If you’re driving, parking is €30 per day, but keep in mind that this fee doesn’t allow re-entry if you leave and come back later.
Getting To And From The Parks
Taxis can be pricey, so we recommend using Bolt or Uber as a more affordable alternative. Many on-site hotels are within walking distance or offer free shuttles, while some off-site hotels also provide free shuttle services to the parks, giving you plenty of transport options.
SkipTax Refunds
If you’re planning to go big on souvenirs (and who can blame you with all the adorable merch on offer?), you might want to consider using SkipTax to claim a VAT refund.
It’s a handy way to get a bit of money back on those higher-ticket purchases, but don’t count on it to work perfectly every time.

There are requirements that you need to meet before you are eligible for this, and the return isn’t instant.
That said, it’s definitely worth looking into if you’re spending big. I’ve laid out all the details in this guide to SkipTax, so check it out before you shop.
Can You Do Disneyland Paris on a Budget?
It’s completely possible to do Disneyland Paris on a budget, but you’ll find yourself relying more on your own planning than the comforts Disney provides.

Setting realistic expectations for souvenirs and packing your own snacks can make those pennies stretch a lot further.
Conclusion
Disneyland Paris can be magical no matter your budget. Planning ahead makes all the difference, allowing you to save on snacks, souvenirs, and even transport while still enjoying the magic.
It’s all about making choices that work for you—splurging on that character dining experience or sticking to quick-service meals, packing snacks, or grabbing treats in the park.
When it comes to how much spending money for Disneyland Paris you’ll need, it’s all about preparation and priorities.
We love taking smaller trips more often instead of going all out in one visit, and it’s proof that the magic isn’t tied to how much you spend.

At time of writing, there are currently no restrictions prohibiting visits to France. You can see more info on this at gov.co.uk.
